Lon is a military veteran whose service as an officer includes tours in Okinawa, Korea, West Africa, Iraq, and Afghanistan. After leaving the military, Lon was a logistics manager for companies that constructed power plants. Wanting to return to his family in Utah and seeing an opportunity to help homeowners, he established Rock Top Construction.

Honorably Discharged from the US Navy. I spent 37 years working in the Defense Industry as a Test Technician working in the on Guidance and Control Systems for military aircraft and then as a Field Service Engineer working on Shipboard Navigations and Radar Systems. I have been working as an Estimator for Rock Top Construction for the past two years.

Prior to joining Rock Top, I spent almost five years managing commercial properties in Utah and California. My responsibilities included managing all aspects of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring tenant retention, tracking vendor insurance compliance, and overseeing Tenant Improvements. This involved working as a liaison between new tenants and subcontractors to ensure their new office space met their exact specifications.

Before that, I held Executive-level administrative assistant positions for over 20 years. My extensive background in administrative roles, where I supported busy executives by managing the tasks of organizing and detailing necessary office work, led me to start my own company, Back Office Support Systems . Helping business owners with their administrative and bookkeeping needs.

Melissa brings over 10 years Operational and Business Development experience from multiple industries including Construction, Healthcare, Insurance and Financial understandings with a grounding in overall Business and Project Development.  If Melissa is not behind a laptop, you can find her scaling and hiking the mountains in any season of the year.
